1.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported immediately to us.

1.3 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use our services.

2. Courses, E-books, and Other Digital Content

2.1 When you purchase a course, e-book, or any other digital content, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use it for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

2.2 You may not share, distribute, reproduce, modify, or resell any content from STEER Academy without our express written consent.

2.3 Access to purchased content is generally lifetime, but we reserve the right to remove or modify content due to legal or policy reasons.

3. Payments and Refunds

3.1 All payments must be made using valid payment methods provided at checkout. You agree to pay any applicable taxes related to your purchase.

3.2 We offer a 14-day refund policy for online courses, provided that you have not completed more than 20% of the content. E-books and other digital downloads are non-refundable.

3.3 If your payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend access to any purchased content until payment is received.

4. User Conduct and Restrictions

4.1 You agree to use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 You must not:

- Share your account login details with others.

- Upload or distribute unauthorized content that infringes on intellectual property rights.

- Use our platform to engage in fraudulent or unethical activities.

- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our website or services.

4.3 Violation of these terms may result in the suspension or termination of your account without refund.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 All courses, e-books, logos, trademarks, and other materials provided by STEER Academy are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

5.2 By posting reviews, comments, or other content on our platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content for promotional and marketing purposes.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

6.1 Our content is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6.2 We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or content.

6.3 We are not liable for any third-party content or external links available on our platform.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 If a dispute arises, is mandatory to contact us first to seek resolution. Before initiating a formal claim, the complaining party must submit a written Claim Statement with their name, mailing address, email, dispute details, and a proposed resolution. The recipient must attempt to resolve the issue within 60 days. Failure to follow this process is a material breach of this Agreement, and courts/arbitrators will not have jurisdiction over the dispute.

7.2 Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to binding individual arbitration, unless prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.

7.3 The governing law for these Terms will be the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles.

8. Changes to These Terms

8.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.

8.2 Continued use of our services after modifications indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
